305 Farms™ is the largest state-of-the-art indoor cannabis grow in Michigan. Our 40 acre Campus includes over 350,000 square feet of state-of-the-art cannabis cultivation and processing operations. This site is approved for 40 Class C cultivation Licenses and 2 Processing Licenses (Rec & Med). When all phases of construction are completed, the campus will include over 350,000 usable square feet of cultivation, drying, trimming, processing and supporting operation.

Our focus on quality vape products reflects our past experience with the vape industry with current leadership from the former Juul Laboratories and electronic cigarette business. With operations in Lansing and soon to come in Lawrence, our focus is on scalable product lines and quality throughout the entire process, from start to finish.

Summary of duties and responsibilities: 

  • Adhere to the departmental, site, and corporate safety policies.
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area.
  • Strict adherence to procedures and practices according to internal SOP and state regulations.
  • Strong emphasis on documentation according to state regulations.
  • Concealed Pistol License and owned/approved firearm required for armed positions
  • Some security, safety, law enforcement, military experience is of benefit
  • Must pass a Background Check as required per CRA
  • Must possess a Driver’s License 
  • Posses a personal cell phone with messaging options for communications
  • Posses reliable transportation
  • Be able to work 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts, nights, weekends and holidays (restricted availability isn’t a dis-qualifier for employment, but given our job field, flexibility is critical for all of us)
  • Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to solve problems and de-escalate situations in a non-confrontational manner. These include the ability to read and write the English language and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, maintenance instructions and reports.
  • Must be willing to become CPR/1st Aide/AED Certified (prior certification is preferred).
  • Must be physically and mentally sound
  • Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Must be able to reach with hands and arms, and to hold objects
  • Must be able to sit, stand or walk for 8-12 hour shifts, including walking long distances, and possibly up and down stairs
  • Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations
  • Must be able to work in or outdoors during all seasons
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Must have flexible availability and willingness to work on short notice.
  • Must provide excellent customer service
  • Guard posts – this may include building lobbies or reception areas.
  • Conduct hourly foot patrol of interior and exterior to check entrances, doors, windows and vents are locked and secure against break-ins (includes climbing stairs).
  • Monitor surroundings on closed-circuit television.
  • Ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas.
  • Look for suspicious persons, packages and activities.
  • May provide first aid or other medical treatment in emergency situations.
  • Must follow site specific post guidelines.
  • Will report potentially hazardous conditions.
  • Document daily activities and incident reports.

Physical Demands: 

  • Continuously stand or walk (up to 10 hours per day)
  • Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 35lbs frequently

Education/Training:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • 21 years old or older
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and email 
  • CPL 

Work Environment:

  • Warehouse environment with artificial lighting and ventilation
  • Potential for mold exposure.
  • Potential for allergic reaction to or hypersensitivity to the Cannabis plants
  • Carbon dioxide (CO2) may be encountered. CO2 can displace oxygen at high concentrations.
  • The warehouse is properly ventilated, however, Cannabis post-harvest produces ozone from the chemical reaction of nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds, such as terpenes that are given off from the Cannabis plant. Terpenes and nitric oxides can be associated with eye, skin, and mucous irritation. PPE in the form of respiratory protection may be recommended in certain parts of the warehouse.
  • Corrosive chemicals and flammable/combustible liquids
